Addis Connect

Business pitch

Two minutes. The whole room listening.

Every Addis Connect stops for a pitch block. Five businesses get the mic, everyone else puts their drink down and listens. It is the one part of the night where the room is doing exactly one thing — and it is the cheapest way into this room.

3 slots for sale each event. There are 5 in the block and our Feature and Title partners take the other 2 — a bigger package includes one. Those are on the partners page.

Two minutes

An introduction, not a presentation.

The block only works if people want to sit through it. Two minutes is enough to make a room curious and not enough to lose it — so come to introduce yourself, and let the conversations afterwards do the selling.

What works

  • Who you are and what your business does
  • What you are looking for in the room — clients, partners, a hire
  • How someone should follow up with you

What doesn't

  • A sales presentation or a price list
  • A product demo that needs setup
  • Anything that needs more than two minutes

Paying holds your slot — it doesn't confirm it. We read every pitch and check it fits the night. If it does, we confirm your place in the running order within a day. If we can't place you, we refund the full 2,000 ETB.

Next up: New Year, New Network. Refunded in full if we can't place you.
